Siemens Mobility begins manufacturing rolling stock in the United Kingdom

Siemens Mobility is launching its Train Manufacturing Facility in the United Kingdom, following an investment of up to €230 million.
This facility is a central feature of the new Goole Rail Village, situated on a 67-acre site—equivalent to the size of 35 football pitches.
The new Piccadilly line trains for the London Underground will be assembled at the Goole factory, with passenger service set to begin in 2025.
