Along with Südleasing GmbH, the Swiss company SBB Cargo International AG has placed an order for twenty more Vectron multi-system locomotives that are outfitted with the XLoad package.
SBB Cargo International will lease the locomotives from SüdLeasing under a long-term, flexible arrangement.
Siemens Mobility will also maintain the locomotives for 15 years as part of the arrangement.
To boost the locomotive's efficiency and hauling capacity, the Vectron XLoad package enhances traction capabilities.
