A 10-year, $1.6 billion contract has been awarded to AD Alliance – a partnership between Alstom Transport Australia Pty Ltd and DT Infrastructure Pty Ltd – to design, supply, and build Perth's High-Capacity Signalling (HCS) project.
The HCS project will replace and significantly upgrade the signalling and train control systems on Perth's rail network. This will allow more trains to run more frequently, ultimately increasing capacity by 40 percent.
The HCS control technology will be housed in the new state-of-the-art Public Transport Operations Control Centre (PTOCC) in East Perth. This facility will serve as a central hub to ensure smooth and safe public transport operations, including incident management.

Knorr-Bremse completes the acquisition of Alstom Signaling North America

After finalizing the Alstom Signaling North America deal, Knorr-Bremse acquires all signaling business operations along with a team of approximately 800 employees across six locations.
This will allow Knorr-Bremse to enter North America’s lucrative market for signaling technologies (Control, Command, and Signaling – CCS), which the company plans to enhance and expand globally by developing new and digital solutions.
Knorr-Bremse has acquired Alstom Signaling North America’s conventional signaling product portfolio, along with its sales, service, and manufacturing operations, primarily located in the USA and Canada.

A contract with the Egyptian National Authority for Tunnels (NAT) to renovate Line 1 of the Cairo Metro, valued at over 800 million euros.
This line, the oldest in Egypt, serves as the backbone of Cairo's urban transport system, currently transporting over 1.5 million people daily.
To address the growing demand for mobility in Cairo, the authorities have decided to enhance the city's transport capacity.
