Alstom secures a €323 million contract with Polo Logistica FS to deliver 70 Traxx Universal locomotives, including maintenance services

Alstom has entered into a contract with Mercitalia Rail, part of Polo Logistica FS, to supply 70 Traxx Universal locomotives for Italy, accompanied by 12 years of comprehensive maintenance services.
A few of the locomotives will have last-mile technologies installed.
With a value above €323 million, the contract also includes an option to supply an extra 30 locomotives and to extend the maintenance services.
