Alstom intends to run a brand-new passenger train network throughout Wales and England.
The open access operation will be named as Wrexham, Shropshire and Midlands Railway (WSMR),
and it will be run in collaboration with the consulting firm SLC Rail.
Alstom, the leading provider of new trains and train services in the nation, will launch its own rail service in the UK.
