17 October 2024 (Bussnang) On 16 October 2024, Stadler Signalling AG and Sihltal Zürich Uetliberg Bahn (SZU) signed a partnership agreement to modernize SZU’s signalling systems, marking Stadler’s entry into the Swiss signalling market for standard-gauge railways. This is a core element of SZU’s overall modernisation programme, known as ‘SZU_4.0’. Alstom has delivered the first driverless trainset for Chennai Metro Phase II

17 October 2024 (India) Alstom has successfully delivered the first Metropolis metro train for Chennai Metro Phase II from its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Sricity, Andhra Pradesh. These fully made-in-India trains are designed for a maximum safe speed of 90 km/h and an operational speed of 80 km/h. Stadler delivers six metre-gauge locomotives to MOB
